Do you think Toronto has a unified local sensibility? What does it mean when others say that Torontonians think they are the centre of the universe? This exhibit examines the ways we look at people, things and ideas, and how we are in turn looked at by others. Many sights that Torontonians take for granted – such as surveillance cameras – are considered luxuries or unnecessary in other communities. This exhibit focuses on how local sensibility informs our worldview.
