Sense And Sensibility:

The Comforts of Home

This exhibit is about ways food creates a sense of comfort for people from all backgrounds and communities. The sights, smells, tastes and touch of food are at the core of this exhibit. It showcases local cafes and restaurants who, by making food and drinks available to specific communities, give residents and visitors a sense of home. Whether you have just moved to the GTA, your family has been settled in Toronto for generations, or you are a tourist, this exhibit asks you to experience food’s ability to reassure and reconnect each of us to our own identities.
